Autumnal Yin Yoga 5-week Series

Please join ABG and Meg for another 5-week series that will offer folks a chance to downshift from the summer high towards a more balanced, nurtured, and rested state. Each class will offer something a little different, while still following a comforting, familiar rhythm. We’ll start by gently engaging the senses to help you arrive and unwind, then ease into steady, nourishing breath-work alongside simple warm-up movements. From there, you’ll be guided into long-held yin postures designed to invite softness and release. The practice will close in a supported resting pose and guided body scan to help you integrate the benefits of the practice. These classes are designed for all bodies and Meg will offer many alternatives to postures throughout the practice. This series is deeply informed by Meg's somatic- & trauma-informed background, as well as her love for a practice that moves a bit slower & allows space for exploring each moment with curiosity.

There is a $2 cancellation fee for all cancellations. No refunds for requests made with less than 24 hours notice.

Please bring: To support your ease and comfort, please arrive at least 10 minutes before class to find your spot and get settled. Class will start promptly at 5:30pm. Please bring your yoga mat (ABG has additional mats to use UNDER yours for extra cushion), plus a blanket, yoga block, and a bolster (or a pillow/cushion). Meg will provide straps and extra blankets. Note: the greenhouse has a cement floor and is a tad on the cool side. Dress in warm layers, thick socks, and consider a hat & gloves for the guided rest portion of class. Classes will be held outside on the lawn when weather permits.
