Join us for a Together in Nature art class and make connections with the natural world and your little one that will last a lifetime!

Children ages 2–5 and their caregivers will experience the Alaska Botanic Garden through creative outdoor art and nature-based exploration guided by art teacher, Margaret Mackie. Each class begins with a welcoming circle time that includes songs, storytelling, and movement encouraging curiosity and connection from the start.

Following circle time, children explore hands-on art stations inspired by the natural world. Using found and natural materials, they can experiment with textures, colors, and creative expression while building fine motor skills, sensory awareness, and early math and literacy foundations. Together in Nature is a meaningful way to enjoy the outdoors with your young artist, spark imagination, and create lasting connections with nature through art.
