Harvest dance: Music and movement to celebrate the changing seasons

Join the teachers from Music Together Mountain Song for a 45-minute stroller-friendly “musical hike” along the 1/2 mile paved path. We’ll stop along the way to sing, wiggle and jam to songs and rhythms inspired by the natural world. We’ll sing about falling leaves, dance to harvest songs, and jam in celebration of autumn in Alaska.

Discover new ways to interact musically with your child using your bodies, voices, and simple child-friendly rhythm instruments. Each participating family will leave with castanets, a tambourine, and inspiration for how to continue making music together at home.

Designed for families with children 0-5 years old. Event will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. No refunds for requests with less than 24 hours notice.
