Ink Drawing Alpine and Subalpine Wildflowers

Explore a variety of drawing techniques while sketching alpine wildflowers in the Rock Garden and Subalpine Rockery at ABG. Use pencil, pen and ink markers to practice line drawing, value studies, and texture. Use alcohol markers to practice layering and blending colors found in nature. Enjoy sketching outside in this relaxing and inspirational communal drawing workshop. Ink Markers and sketchpad included. Taught by local artist Betany Porter. Ticket price includes 10, Tombow Dual Tip Brush Pens and Canson Pen & Ink Sketchpad, 7x10in, 80lb, 60 sheets. Space is limited, sign up ahead of time. Class takes place outside, please dress for the weather.
