2026 Summer Camp Registration opens @ 10am Jan. 12th

The Alaska Botanical Garden believes that every child learns best by experiencing the world firsthand. Camp activities and lessons foster environmental awareness, stewardship, and help build life skills. All camps take place outside in our unique outdoor classroom, as well as along surrounding nearby trails and creeks. Each unique camp offers a chance for your child to go in depth into the subjects that interest them the most! Regardless of the week’s theme, campers will participate in weekly garden maintenance, learn team-building skills and leave-no trace principles that will be incorporated into daily walks and games.

Full Day and Half Day options available; Monday - Friday
8:30am - 4:00pm Full Day
8:30am - 12:00pm Half Day (morning only)

12:30 - 4:00pm Half Day (afternoon only)

Full Day/child/week: Members, $333 / Non-Members $348

10:45-11:30am Camp activities

11:30-12:00pm Lunch and check-out for A.M. half-day students

12:00-12:30pm Free time and check in for P.M. half-day students

12:30-2:00pm Camp activities

2:00-2:15pm Afternoon snack

2:15-3:45pm Camp activities

3:45-4:00pm Camp cleanup and check-out for all students

You will be able to register your child for camps on January 12 at 10am. Flexible Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made on or before May 1st, 2026 will receive a full refund minus a $40 cancellation fee. No refunds given after May 1st. We will work with you to transfer your child's registration to another week if space allows.
