The Shop-in-the-Garden is now open

Occasional Saturdays,

Blue Himalayan Poppy
(Meconopsis 'Lingholm')
Seeds $3.00 per pack
available at the ABG Gift Shop
Growing Instructions:
Refrigerate seeds for
30 days (these seeds have
been pre-chilled).Spread
in tray on top
of planting
medium.
Gently press seeds
in,
do
not cover.
Cover tray
with plastic,
maintain
temperature
between
50°F and 60°F.
Seeds
germinate in 30 days.
Remove cover after sprouting.
When
true leaves develop,
pick out
and
place into plug
trays filled
with fishy peat.
Thrives best in cool climates.
Plant in rich compost and
keep moist. Meconopsis does
best in part shade with
temperatures under 80
degrees. Matures to
3’ tall and 2’ wide; hardy
in zones 3-7.
