Tributes & Memorial Donations

The Alaska Botanical Garden gratefully accepts a variety of donations
made in memoriam or tribute to a loved or honored person.

Memorial Donations can made for Garden programs or toward a
tangible memorial placed in the Garden.

The most common item is a wooden memorial bench
with an inscribed plaque placed on the front side of the bench.
There are limited sites in the Garden where benches will be placed.
A memorial donation provides for the purchase and installation
of the bench and plaque and maintenance of the bench for 10 years,
along with a "donation" amount towards sustainable Garden operations.

Other options are available as the Garden develops and the need for
particular garden hardscape or furniture is needed.
The cost of these items would be available upon request.
