Nurture the Garden

The Alaska Botanical Garden is a private 501 (C) (3) nonprofit corporation,
sustained entirely through donations, memberships, and program revenue.
ABG receives no Federal, State, or Municipal operating support.

A contribution to the ABG Annual Fund supports the operations and growth
of this valuable community asset. Annual Fund donations help the Garden
directly by providing funds for:

• maintenance and development of the gardens, facilities, and nature trails
  
• Educational program supplies
  
• Research and Preservation efforts

For example, a contribution of $ 250 would:

• purchase tuition, books, and supplies for one child attending the
  Junior Master Gardener summer day camp program
• purchase culinary or medicinal herb plants for the Herb Garden
• pay for chipping salvaged brush and tree limbs for re-use in surfacing
  the Garden's Nature Trails
• pay for annual parts, supplies, and maintenance for the ABG irrigation system
  
• purchase a sheltering tent and some hand tools for the ABG Nursery
