Nurture the Garden

The Alaska Botanical Garden is a private 501 (C) (3) nonprofit corporation,
sustained entirely through donations, memberships, and program revenue.
ABG receives no Federal, State, or Municipal operating support.

A contribution to the ABG Annual Fund supports the wellbeing and growth
of this valuable community asset. Annual Fund donations help the Garden
directly by providing funds for:

maintenance and development of the gardens, facilities, and nature trails
Educational program supplies
Research and Preservation efforts

For example, a contribution of $ 250 would:

purchase tuition, books, and supplies for one child attending the
Junior Master Gardener summer day camp program
purchase culinary or medicinal herb plants for the Herb Garden
pay for chipping salvaged brush and tree limbs for re-use in surfacing
the Garden's Nature Trails
pay for annual parts, supplies, and maintenance for the ABG irrigation system
purchase a sheltering tent and some hand tools for the ABG Nursery
